Adam's May 2004 Singapore Trip
I'm going to post the pictures in no particular order until I get them all up.
After that, I'll group them by categories. Enjoy!

A giant statue of a fat bird - don't know the significance.
Raffles Square

One of the most interesting dishes I ate - black chicken.
I had this at the suggestion of the Ministry of Defense staff.
It looked nasty, but was actually pretty tasty!

A bridge connecting Raffles Park with Raffles Square

My cab ride to the ministry of defense. My cab driver would put any New York cabbie to shame - she tore through business districts going 65 MPH.

Think my cabbie is trapped? Hardly.
Notice the open space on the left? We were there less than a second after this picture was shot.

My cabbie - I don't remember her name, but she was a young woman who was likely less than 20 years old. I knew I was in for a ride when I got in because she was blasting Metallica's "For Whom the Bell Tolls."

Here's another tasty treat from a hawker's booth -
a local dish called "carrot cake" - needless to say, it's not the same as the carrot cake we all know and love. It's more like carrot hash browns.

The view outside of my bedroom window as the sun went down. How'd you like to see that every night?
